Founded in 1948, the Louisville Agricultural Club strives to educate members on current issues facing agricultural producers and professionals in Kentucky and Indiana.
Meetings are held on a monthly basis and typically feature a guest speaker.
The Louisville Agricultural Club also administers a robust scholarship program for Louisville area students looking to study agriculture at a Kentucky or Indiana institution.

Networking
The Louisville Agricultural Club is open to those involved and interested in agriculture. There are currently 200 members, who live in Louisville and surrounding Kentucky and Indiana counties.
Education
Encouraging and supporting the education of young people interested in pursuing careers in agriculture and agriculture-related fields is a primary objective of the Louisville Agricultural Club. Through an endowment fund, scholarships are awarded annually to qualified students living in the Louisville area planning to study in Kentucky or Indiana.

Mark Barker
Mark began his Farm Credit career in 2002 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee as a Financial Services Officer and has served in various roles of increasing responsibility in agricultural lending in Tennessee and Kentucky.
Mark holds a bachelor’s in Agricultural Economics from the University of Tennessee, a master’s in Agricultural Economics from Murray State University and a graduate degree from the Louisiana State University School of Banking. He is a current member of the Kentucky Agricultural Development Fund Board.
Mark grew up on a cow calf/tobacco farm in Middle Tennessee where his mother still resides. Today, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family. Mark lives in Crestwood, Kentucky with his wife, Brandy, and two children: Avery and Jack.
